Are there ongoing costs after I buy a license?
WhisperWizard itself has no subscription - your license is a one-time purchase. Because the app runs on your own OpenAI API key, OpenAI bills your API usage directly to your OpenAI account at their pay-as-you-go rates. You can review or cap that usage in your OpenAI billing settings.
Can I use my ChatGPT Plus subscription for WhisperWizard?
No, you can't. Your ChatGPT Plus subscription and OpenAI API key are different. You need to have your own OpenAI API key to use WhisperWizard.
What does “lifetime usage” mean?

The version you have keeps working. Every plan includes one year of updates, delivered by the app's built-in updater from our GitHub releases.

How much will OpenAI charge me?
It depends on how much you dictate. Transcription is billed per minute of audio at OpenAI's Whisper rate, and templates add chat-model tokens on top. Use the calculator for an estimate, and set a monthly limit in your OpenAI billing settings.
What do I need to start using WhisperWizard?
You will need the following to use WhisperWizard: an OpenAI API key, a WhisperWizard license key, and a Mac with macOS 10.13 or newer (Intel) or macOS 11 or newer (Apple Silicon).
What is the refund policy?
If you're not happy with your purchase, you can get your money back. Just send us an email at [email protected] within 14 days after your purchase to ask for a refund.
