One Key to Record, Rewrite and Paste.

Global shortcuts to record, stop, open the palette and cast any template.

Global shortcuts · Every one rebindable

The keyboard map

Four shortcuts, the whole app.

These are the defaults the app ships with. Point at one to see its keys; every one can be changed in Settings.

The palette

Forgot the key? Ask the palette.

Option Space opens a search box over whatever you are doing. Type a few letters, arrow to the template, press Enter and start speaking. Esc closes it and nothing happens.

A hotkey per template

One key per spell.

Skip the palette entirely. Each template owns a global shortcut: press it, speak, and that one prompt runs and pastes. The six built-in templates come bound to ⌃⌥1 to ⌃⌥6; your own take any combination you give them.

Hands off the keyboard

Speak instead of typing it out.

Press the shortcut, talk, and the text lands where your cursor was, in any Mac app.
  • Press Option Shift Space to start a recording with WhisperWizard.
  • It is a toggle, not hold-to-talk: press once to start, then press ⌥Esc to stop and paste.
  • Give the text a quick read before you send it.

  • Toggle, not hold

Press once and talk for as long as you need. ⌥Esc stops it; no finger pinned to a key while you think.

  • From any app

The shortcuts are global. Mail, Slack, a browser field: the recorder opens over whatever you are doing.

  • Rebind anything

In Settings, hover a shortcut box and press the combination you want. Templates take their own.
